Ein frü­he­rer Desi­gner von Mili­tär­spie­len tritt bei einem Video­spiel­wett­be­werb der Armee auf. Bevor er in den Krieg zog, mach­te er Spie­le, die Sol­da­ten auf den Kul­tur­schock vor­be­rei­ten und ihr Trau­ma hei­len soll­ten. Doch zurück aus dem Krieg, ver­än­der­te sich sei­ne Iden­ti­tät und sein Ver­hält­nis zum Leben und zum Videospiel.

Bio­gra­phie

Antoine Chapon (1990) is an artist and film­ma­ker based in Paris (France). His instal­la­ti­ons, vide­os and his first film focus on how simu­la­ti­on can be used to con­trol the human or the non-human. His first film “My Own Land­scapes” (2020) won the award for best short film at the Visi­ons du Réel Fes­ti­val in Nyon (Switz­er­land), and the award for best short docu­men­ta­ry film at the Nor­we­gi­an Short Film Festival.
