Kiki der Vogel kennt nur sei­nen Käfig und die alte Frau, die ihn füt­tert. Er träumt davon, drau­ßen mit den frei­en Vögeln zu flie­gen. Als end­lich sei­ne Käfig­tür mal offen steht, haut er ab und ent­deckt das gro­ße Drau­ßen. Hier muss man aller­dings flie­gen kön­nen. Schon gru­se­lig, als Vogel so frei zu sein.

Bio­gra­phie

The director’s duo has been wri­ting and direc­ting ani­ma­ted short films for about 15 years. After a first col­la­bo­ra­ti­on in 2015 with La Luna pro­duc­tions for ONCE UPON THREE TIMES, part of Canal + Ani­ma­ted Coll­ec­tion “Draw Always!”, they direc­ted A STO­RY BY JEAN­NOT, broad­cast on France 3 chan­nel, then OLD HAG, who­se screen­play was award­ed in 2016 at the Anne­cy Film Mar­ket and pre-bought by Canal +.

The duo direc­ted around 30 ani­ma­ted shorts in 15 years.
