Biographie
Lo-Def Film Factory, a South African artist duo of Francois Knoetze and Amy Louise Wilson, creates video, collage, and VR projects focusing on D.I.Y storytelling. They run workshops and work with various communities, placing value on the transmission ideas and lived experience over high production values.
Russel Hlongwane’s work blends art, curation, and writing, exploring South African heritage and technology. His project Ifu Elimnyama won the Sharjah Film Platform Jury Award.
