»Again and Again and Again«, ein Auszug aus »It’s What’s Inside That Counts 2016«, parodiert Social Media, Werbung, Kinderfernsehen und Märchen – häufig Gegenstände in Macleans Arbeiten. Der Film setzt Methoden ein, mit denen Konzerne Wohlbefinden, Jugend und Glück verkaufen, indem sie uns mit Bildern bombardieren und unsere Ängste ausbeuten. Dieser Film kritisiert Konsum in jeglicher Form, besonders aber unsere Abhängigkeit von Technologie.

Biographie

2016–17 solo exhibitions include Wot u 🙂 about? at HOME gallery Manchester and major screenings of her film commission It’s What’s Inside That Counts, with HOME Manchester, Salford Art Collection, Artpace San Antonio Texas, Art Now: Tate Britain and Frieze Film Projects. Exhibiting and screening internationally at Kino der Kunst, Munich, Germany, JUT Art Museum: Taiwan, Kochi-Muziris Biennale in India, MILL 6: Hong Kong, , Luxembourg, Impakt Festival, Athens and Luxembourg Film Festival.
