In “The Wolf” Bela gets lost in the forest, whe­re she fol­lows a wolf through his trans­for­ma­ti­on into a were­wolf. “The Wolf” is also a film about film­ma­king, taxi­der­my, were­wolf hor­ror, digi­be­ta tapes, non actor stu­dents, untrai­ned ani­mals, no-bud­get spe­cial effects, and a direc­tor who comm­ents on her failure.

Bio­gra­phie

Naa­ma Heiman is a film­ma­ker based in Colo­gne and Tel Aviv.
She stu­di­ed film and crea­ti­ve wri­ting at the Aca­de­my of Media Arts Cologne.
Her first film, Pic­nic at Han­ging Rock (2021), pre­mie­red at Duis­bur­ger Film­wo­che, was scree­ned at seve­ral fes­ti­vals and recei­ved the Green Direc­tors Award at Doclis­boa. Curr­ent­ly she is editing her first fea­ture docu­men­ta­ry, My Life as a Dog, fun­ded by the Film- und Medi­en­stif­tung NRW.
